LAUREL GLEN FARM
VEGETABLES & FRUITS GROWN BY OUR FAMILY FOR YOURS
The Rogowski family has been farming in Shelton for over 100 years, and across 4 generations, we've gotten to know you and feed you well. We've created a tight-knit community centered around delicious local food, and bonding over what matters most... mealtime with our families. We can't wait to grow fresh food for you, too.
We've partnered with other local producers to bring you a one-stop shopping experience from May through December at our farm. Vegetables are never supplemented; you can trust that they're always ours.
We've won Connecticut Magazine's Reader's Choice award for Best Farm Stand!
VEGGIE SUBSCRIPTIONS (CSA)
We'll pack you a weekly box of fresh vegetables and inspire you to cook with it. Over the course of the program, you'll bond with other subscription members at our events and in our online community.
We love to share the fun of farming with you. We schedule fun events, from pick-your-own crops, to stuff-a-bag sales, to wreath-making workshops, to free potlucks (and so much more) throughout the season,
In 2023, our raspberry and blackberry crops took off. We harvest them as fast as we can to keep them in stock, and sometimes you can even harvest them, too!
We share our abundance of pickling cucumbers, plum tomatoes, and "seconds" tomatoes at bulk prices from June through September. No need to pre-order!
SPRING PLANT SALE
Beginning in May, we sell the same seedling varieties that we grow for our own farm so that you can grow along with us.
We also sell gorgeous daffodil and tulip pots in April and hanging flower baskets for Mother's Day.
We'll meet you in Shelton and Monroe every week in the summer and fall with a table full of fresh vegetables. Offerings are never supplemented; you can trust that they're always grown on our farm.
Find our tomatoes at Roseland Apizza every summer! We love partnering with local chefs, caterers, farms, and stores who source seasonal veggies.
CONNECT WITH US
We love to teach the community about farm life, seasonal eating, and the food industry. Read our blog, subscribe to receive weekly newsletters, and follow our daily updates on social media.
Laurel Glen Farm was founded as a dairy farm in Shelton, CT in the early 1900s by John and Anna Rogowski and their children. Great-grandson Randy learned about agriculture from his elders and dreamt of being a farmer as a little boy. In 2008, he met his match Victoria, and took over the family farm in 2013, revitalizing it as a vegetable farm.
The addition of their children Peter in 2019 in Janina in 2023 gave new meaning to the dream: to work hard together to create a community of food lovers; a place where others could learn about how food is grown and prepared and feel connected to the food source that binds their family together.
