  • Are The Fields located at your farm store?
We've opened up our beautiful second location at 475 Booth Hill Road, where our pick-your-own fruit and flower fields reside. This is about a mile away from our 247 Waverly Road farm store location. Please make sure your GPS is set to Shelton, as there is a duplicate address in Trumbull. Don't forget to check our website and social media before visiting to make sure pick-your-own is still open that day. Weather and crop conditions are ever-changing.
  • How do you sell the berries and blooms?
When you arrive at The Fields, park in the designated parking area and walk over to our checkout station. Please pre-pay for the items you plan to harvest. We accept cash, check, credit card, or Venmo (@laurelglenfarm). We'll direct you to the correct harvesting location. Raspberries and blackberries are harvested into half-pint containers that we provide. Each container is $6.50. Bouquets of flowers are $30, which includes tax and a collectible transport cup for your blooms. Bring the cup to use on a subsequent visit for $1 off! Your bouquet must fit into one hand when grasped around the stems. After you finish harvesting, please see us at the checkout station for a complimentary water cup, to fit into your car's cupholder on the journey home. We do not provide bulk discounts at this time.
  • What should I bring?
Nothing is required for your visit, as all supplies are provided. If you plan to harvest a few half pints of berries, you may want to bring a small box to carry all containers to your car. We recommend keeping a cold water bottle in your car to consume outside of our fields. We also recommend wearing sturdy walking shoes, sunscreen, and a sun hat. Photogenic outfits and smiles are a must!
  • Are The Fields handicap accessible?
Unfortunately, our pick-your-own fields are not handicap accessible at this time. Please note that reaching the berry fields does require walking up an inclined path. The flower fields are located closer to the parking lot. You are welcome to use a stroller to help your children to reach the fields.
  • Are there restrooms or other amenities?
At this time, our restrooms are under construction and may open later this season. No food or drink is available for purchase. However, please visit our farm store one mile down the road at 247 Waverly Road, where we have a restroom and other items available for purchase.
