SO SWEET
Farmer Randy dreamt of expanding his fruit offerings to include more than just melons. So, in 2021, he planted a 3-acre field of fruit: raspberries, blackberries, table grapes, and fruit trees. While we're still waiting on the tree fruit to produce, our berries have been in incredibly high demand. Your love of our berries inspired us to open our fields for some pick-your-own opportunities during the season.
AVAILABLE IN THE STORE
The following is a list of projected items that we expect to be harvesting and selling this season. Since we harvest everything fresh, and we only sell our own, we can't always guarantee availability. We post regularly on our social media accounts (@laurelglenfarmllc) regarding availabilty and send out a weekly email with store inventory.
The only produce we ever supplement in our store is apples from our friends at Hindinger Farm in Hamden. Available mid-September through December.
PICK-YOUR-OWN
In July and August we offer pop-up opportunities to pick-your-own raspberries and blackberries.
These events generally take place on Friday evenings and weekends.
We email out dates and details approximately a week in advance and encourage you to subscribe to our mailing list for these updates as they can be last minute depending on the crop and weather conditions.
